Philosophy is based on Erikson’s ideas about socio-emotional developmet as well as on Piaget’s theory that children learn by doing.
It is what we do with chidren before we present the basics of formal educaion that will create success or failure for them as they learn.
Young chidren generate new understanding of the world around them and gather information to augment what they know already by getting involved and interacting with their enviroment.
