The Alpha-Bet School was first organized as the Manassas Cooperative Preschool in the spring of 1966, and this year marks our 45th year in operation. The school was formed by members of other co-ops who had moved into the area. In January of 1968, the Manassas Cooperative Preschool became Alpha-Bet School, Inc. In the spring of 1993, the school received its license from the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Social Services. Our school is also a member of the Virginia Cooperative Preschool council. Alpha-Bet is a non-sectarian, non-profit school.

Alpha Bet Preschool shall provide a creative environment for children of preschool age in which they can discover themselves and the world around them through experience.
The educational program shall exercise the imagination, curiosity, and intelligence of each child through planned play and individual attention.
