Morello Hills Christian Preschool

Opening its doors in 1947 what is now Morello Hills Christian Church was called the Brown Street Church of Christ and was physically located on Brown Street in downtown Martinez. The church used other rented locations around Martinez before moving to where the Shell Oil Refinery now stands in 1960. In 1963 it was picked up (they moved the whole building!) and moved to its current location. Over the years the church has grown and developed into a larger facility to accommodate our growing church family. More important than the actual walls of the church are the values for which the church began. MHCC strives to gently lead everyone to Christ; discover what Jesus means to them and help them understand that His loving gift of grace is something beneficial on Earth as well as Heaven.
