Crossing Point Christian School is a ministry of First Christian Church McKinney Texas. The school was started in 1993 and was the vision of Rev. Bobby Cook the senior minister at that time. Rev. Cook along with a committee of lay people and the first director Kelly Close wanted to provide a school that would serve McKinney and the surrounding communities.
Crossing Point continues to follow that vision today. We strive to meet the needs of individual children and their families within our community; accepting the uniquness of each child as God created them. Helping them to grow academically spiritually physically and emotionally is the primary goal of our school and its staff.
Our team staff consists of 25 staff members including teachers assistants and adminsitration. The average tenure for the staff is 8 years providing both experience and consistency for families.

Our Philosophy
We are dedicated to the philosophy that young children grow in an orderly and sequential manner with predictable stages of development. We recognize that each child is unique and accept each child at their current stage of development. It is our intention to nurture the development of the whole child physical emotional social cognitive and spiritual growth.
