Bethany Christian School was established in 1968 as Brevard Christian School a ministry of Bethany Ministries. The school, at one time, was operated under the Accelerated Christian Education principles, but has been functioning as a traditional school since 1981.
Bethany Christian School (Brevard Christian School) is owned and operated by Bethany Ministries. Thus, it is designed as a private church school. The enrollment consists not only of members of Bethany Ministries, but of students from many other churches in the surrounding area.
