TBS Montessori was founded in 2004 by Rebeca Krys and trustees from the Cuban Hebrew Congregation of Miami Beach. Their vision was to create a school that fostered a love of learning through the teachings of Maria Montessori and Judaica. Children at the school range from two years through six years of age. Children are placed in one of three age-based programs: Toddler Pre-Pre-K or Pre-K/Kindergarten.
