Allie and Friends Infant - Toddler Nursery

We cater to children ranging from ages 6 weeks to 3 years. Although not enrolling Preschool-aged children, we have the capability to keep our 3 year-olds as they turn four and teach Preschool curriculum. We teach using a loosely structured curriculum adapting to the different ages. We introduce the slightly older infants to baby sign language, while working with toddlers on skills such as: colors, letters, numbers, animals, sounds, large motor skills, gardening, nutrition, and personal hygiene.

Our program enables and encourages children to optimize mental growth, maintain healthy physical growth, and stimulate communicative experiences. Children are provided with consistent, attentive, accepting and affectionate staff, as well as opportunities to experience success and create feelings of competence and worth.

The following are a few of our key strengths:

Owned and operated by a Registered Nurse. Only organic snacks and milk served*, including fresh fruit or veggies daily. Good nutrition is strongly emphasized! We use only non-toxic cleaners to disinfect our toys and clean the facility. Constant surveillance of indoor/outdoor play and sleep areas. Very CLEAN, POSITIVE environment. We take pride in every aspect of this nursery. We only hire employees with outstanding references. Most importantly, I believe in hiring employees with a positive attitude who demonstrably enjoy caring for children. It is our goal to have twice the required teachers than required by the State. We also strive to keep at least two staff members on site at all times even at times with low child census We require that EVERY employee be First Aid and CPR certified.
