At Especially for Childrens Edina Center We serve infant through preschool age children in a caring and educational environment. Our staff is knowledgeable about child development, and we have a combined total of over 135 years of EFC experience. We are conveniently located on the southwest corner of Highway 100 and West 70th street and are easily accessible from Highway 62 and Int. 494.
Our center has many unique features including a large, shaded outdoor playground and an indoor large muscle room. On any given day you can find infants taking a buggy ride, toddlers building sandcastles, and the preschoolers playing freeze tag or enjoying bike day. All of the children love storytime, music, art activities, sensory fun, building blocks and dramatic play. We have many family events throughout the year including our annual picnic, Halloween party and Family Fun Night. Especially for Children is a privately owned organization established in 1976 for the purpose of providing quality care for young children.
