Family Circle Child Care Learning Center programs are designed to meet the developmental and spiritual needs of young children (infants to school age), by providing experiences that enrich and enhance each child’s cognitive, language, social, emotional, creative and spiritual development. Within the daily schedule at Family Circle Child Care Center, each child has opportunities to create, explore the environment, exercise problem solving and personal interaction skills, and learn concepts through first-hand experiences.
At Family Circle Child Care Center, all children develop a positive self-concept through a balance of self and teacher directed activities. Opportunities for solitary play as well as group activities are provided. Our staff serves as positive role models providing childcare that is supportive, nurturing, warm, and responsive to each child’s individual needs. We respect families as the primary and most important providers of care and nurturing, and we believe parents and teachers are partners in children’s care and education.
Children attending Family Circle Child Care also benefit from their close association to Pilgrim Lutheran School (WELS). Children in the day care program are able to see what going to school is like by observing and interacting with Pilgrim students.

Family Circle Child Care Center uses a Christian based childcare curriculum has adapted from Hubbard Cupboard and incorporates Director Mattie Dahls personal experience and influence as well. We welcome each day with a group prayer before beginning the days activities.
At Family Circle Child Care Center, we believe that a child learns best by doing. We encourage children to learn and explore through use of their senses: touching, tasting, smelling, listening, and looking. By teaching children how to learn, we give them a valuable tool for success in their later years. We strive to develop children who are independent, self-confident, and inquisitive individuals and ready to begin Kindergarten.
We begin by helping children learn their alphabets and letter sounds. Pupils learn 10 new words a week. Family Circle Child Care students practice writing their alphabets and numbers so they are prepared to write their own names and telephone numbers. ??We incorporate fun materials such as blocks to help the children learn about size, shape, and color. Upon mastering these basic concepts, our students learn more abstract and advanced words and numbers.
Your child/children also gain practice in fine motor and self-help skills.
We celebrate with Bible stories each week. Children love music time singing, clapping hands, dancing and exploring basic musical instruments. Craft time brings out each childs creativity and provides another opportunity to express themselves.
Additionally, we offer Spanish classes each week infants, toddlers and preschoolers to broaden their language horizons.
Each day we truly have a great time.
