Ding A Dong Preschool

Established in 1965, Ding-A-Dong Preschool provides an environment which enhances the educational, social, emotional and physical development of the individual child. This environment allows for learning through active exploration and interaction with adults, other children and a variety of materials. Children are encouraged to select their own activities from learning areas prepared by the staff including dramatic play, science, math, puzzles, games, blocks, books, music and art. The staff acts as facilitators for activities using positive guidance, redirection and setting clear limits as needed.

Individual differences, abilities and interests are recognized and respected. Activities are planned and designed to develop each child’s uniqueness, self-esteem and positive feelings toward learning.

Although Ding-A-Dong Preschool is located in the educational wing of St. John’s United Church of Christ, it has no church affiliation. Ding-A-Dong Preschool is a non-profit, non-sectarian, non-partisan, non-denominational early childhood program governed by a Board of Directors comprised of volunteer parent members of the preschool.
