Childrens Learning Academys mission is to provide local families with affordable, quality childcare and enrichment activities, in an environment that is nurturing and safe. Using an evidence-based curriculum, program activities are designed to support the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of all children enrolled in our program.

Childrens Learning Academys goal is to meet the individual needs of our children and families in a warm, caring and family oriented atmosphere, making the Academy a home away from home for our students. At the Childrens Learning Academy, our families have peace of mind that their children are happy, safe, and well cared for by caring and professional staff. Our exceptional, scientifically-base academic curriculum and developmental activities cover the following subject areas: cognitive, language, and social development; reading readiness and reading; math, science, and computer technology; social studies, literature and foreign language; arts and crafts, theater, music and movement; sports, dance and cultural activities. Our highly-qualified supervisory teachers have Bachelors or Masters degrees and are trained in early childhood development.
The most important objective of our early childhood curriculum is to help children become enthusiastic learners and creative explorers. Childrens Learning Academys goal is to teach children to become independent, self-confident and inquisitive, laying a foundation for a lifetime of learning. From the activities we plan, to the learning toys and materials we provided, the daily schedule and the way staff interact with children, the Childrens Learning Academy environment is designed to promote a successful start in school for every child.

Childrens Learning Academy utilizes the Creative Curriculum, the country leading scientifically-based, comprehensive curriculum for infants and young children. The Creative Curriculum balances both teacher-directed and child-initiated learning, with an emphasis on responding to childrens learning styles and building on their strengths and interests. Our curriculum integrates high-quality child assessment, educational development, and family connection resources to create a well-rounded program that addresses the needs of early childhood education for children and their families. Our dynamic curriculum combines the latest research and innovative ideas into our approach to learning. We honor creativity and respects the role that each teachers plays to make learning exciting and relevant for every child.

The "Creative Curriculum promotes positive outcomes for all children, including English as a second language learners, children with disabilities, and children who are gifted. Our curriculum identifies goals in the following developmental areas:

Social: To help children feel comfortable in school, trust their new environment, make friends, and feel they are a part of the group. Emotional: To help children experience pride and self-confidence, develop independence and self-control, and have a positive attitude. Cognitive: To help children become confident learners by letting them try out their own ideas and experience success, and by helping them acquire learning skills such as the ability to solve problems, ask questions, and use words to describe their ideas, observations, and feelings. Physical: To help children increase their large and small muscle skills and feel confident about what their bodies can do.
