The Red River Valley Academy

The Red River Valley Academy follows the philosopy that children learn best “by doing”. Our “learning to know” curriculum encourages children to explore and experiment with a variety of Montessori materials and experiences in a supportive, confidence-building atmosphere that promotes the development of the “whole child”. Established in 2002, The Red River Valley Academy serves children ages 16 months through eighth grade and offers a rigorous curriculum with high expectations, service learning, music and Spanish instruction daily, community involvement, strong emphasis on multiculturalism, and many more features that help to develop the whole child. We are accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accrediation and School Improvement and a member of the American Montessori Society.
