Children on the Green is committed to quality, developmentally appropriate care and early education for children of families living or working in the Morristown area. We seek to reflect the diversity of the community in which we are located and are committed to partnerships that support all children and families.
As a reflection of that commitment, we are proud to support the child care needs of families from Homeless Solutions, the Jersey Battered Women’s Services, and the Interfaith Council for Homeless Families of Morris County as they transition to permanent housing. For all of our families, we focus on the individual needs of each child and we implement a program that supports those needs through a small group experience.

We recognize that all children develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially at their own individual pace. Our team of professional staff are trained in “best practices” in early care and education of young children. They will provide an inviting, stimulating “family room” of activities and opportunities to explore the world around them.
Learning is an interactive process for young children. Each child’s thoughts and experiences have a direct impact on their positive growth and development. Therefore, we offer an environment rich with materials, ideas, and caring supportive adults. Daily experiences will match the child’s developing abilities, and challenge the child’s interest and understanding.
The role of our professional staff is to provide an environment that offers children opportunities to grow and learn more about themselves and the world around them. Staff will partner with parents to offer sensitive and appropriate caregiving in a program designed to support the unique needs of each child.
