Castro Preschool

The Mountain View Whisman School District Preschool Program is currently accepting waiting list applications for the 2010-11 School year. As part of our commitment to providing a high quality early childhood classroom experience our preschool program uses a developmentally based curriculum that is aligned with California Department of Education and Federal Preschool standards. Additionally our teachers all maintain Child Development Permits issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Our classroom and office staff work diligently with our students and their families to build a strong foundation in early learning that will last a lifetime.

Our preschool classrooms are located at Castro Elementary School Graham Middle School Slater School and Theuerkauf School. There are several different types preschool classes available with opportunities for most families to apply regardless of income. All preschool sessions are FREE – we do not charge a tuition fee. However you must meet either State Preschool Head Start or Power of Preschool enrollment requirements in order to participate.
