Cooper Country Day School

Offers the opportunity for 18 month 2 3 and 4 year old children to learn in a warm caring and safe environment where the instructional program is designed to teach age appropriate curriculum through guided play activities.

We have developed our curriculum over the past 12 years by pulling ideas from different methods such as Montessori Waldorf Direct Instruction and Reggio Emilia. These approaches to learning are based on play and academics. Using just one theory may reach only part of the child. Our goal is to reach the whole child.

The attitudes and behaviors children most need are independence compassion trust creativity self-control and perseverance. Our roles as teachers are to create and environment where children can develop these traits.
