Denbigh Christian Academys Philosophy relates to the whole child Academically, Physically, Mentally, and Spiritually.
Early childhood is the most critical period in human development. We endeavor to
instruct all children in the areas of this development by instilling in them the knowledge
of their worth as an individual. We do this by understanding that each child develops at
his/her own pace academically, physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Our Staff is trained to observe the actions and interactions of the children and to instill in
them positive self-esteem. This is done in an atmosphere of LOVE and CARE. Each
child is taught that his/her rights are important, but also that the rights of others are very
important in such simple ways as sharing toys, working together on a project, playing
together as a group, etc. Even properly supervised discipline can be a wonderful tool for
growth during these early stages to instill a feeling of belonging, responsibility, and
acceptance. We recognize individual accomplishments and the ability of each child to
reach his/her personal goals without comparison to other children.
Our goal is to help all children understand, at their level, that God loves them and that
they are capable little people who can express their thoughts and feelings through their
relationship with others, both children and adults. We do this through the academic,
physical, and spiritual training carried on daily at D.C.A.
