What is it?
Head Start is a government education program for children between ages three and five. The program helps prepare young children for school.
What do my children get?
Educational activities and care that prepare your children for school. Programs may also provide families with:
- Health services
- Nutrition services
- Services for children with disabilities
- Family partnerships such as access to adult education job training and college tuition assistance
How long do my children get it?
You can participate in the Head Start program as long as you continue to qualify. You will need to re-apply each year. This facility is authorized to administer medications
