Our educational philosophy is simple: provide children with a safe, nurturing environment to instill a love of learning and a love of self and a love for others. Our goals are to:

These goals are accomplished through a combination of hands-on activities, both teacher-directed and child-initiated. Each student is a unique individual and it is important that all students are observed individually in order to respond to their specific needs and to provide appropriately challenging activities. Children who require extra attention are offered opportunities for one-on-one or small group reinforcement of our curriculum. Tendercare prides itself on providing students with the skills needed to enter any school system, public or private, and have the knowledge and confidence to succeed.
