Little Elephant Montessori School is a small safe home like school set in the Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland. Our school has a large sunny outdoor play yard and two cozy classrooms. In our primary classroom we have the capacity for 22 full-time students with two instructors. In our pre-primary classroom we have the capacity for 12 full-time students with two instructors. Children are informally exposed to number of different languagesluding sign language throughout our curriculum. We practice the Montessori philosophy at Little Elephant and as such we are a progressive warm welcoming non-rigid environment.
