St. Margaret School offers preschool for 3 and 4 year old children. Our mission is to introduce children to group instruction in a gentle kind and enthusiastic manner through play exploration and teamwork. St. Margaret Preschool focuses on teaching and caring for children through play and structured group activities. This will be a child’s first view of school so we feel we must convey enthusiasm about school. Our goal is to help children grow emotionally physically and socially in a loving and caring environment.

Preschoolers have just finished Fall conferences. They have made great improvement since September. The 4 year olds have mastered writing their names and the 3 year olds will begin this week. Both classes have learned a Prayer before meals and are learning the Sign of the Cross. Counting learning letter names and sounds understanding directionality and opposites are just a few of the concepts presented through “Creative Preschool Curriculum” that ties in with the Michigan Standards and Benchmarks. And of cource one of the most important factors in Preschool is socialization. All students have progressed in making friends and learning the skills that are needed to learn and play well with others.
