Our school is nestled on a quiet street a couple of blocks off of the corner of College and Quivira with easy access to 435 and Highway 69. Our tenured and educated teachers take pride in ensuring your child is immersed in a loving and nurturing environment that fosters a love of learning. We are more than a daycare and/or child care center; we are a school that has been nationally recognized for providing exceptional curriculum designed to meet each child’s individual needs. According to new data, kindergarten students who experience our high-quality early childhood education were on average four months ahead of their peers nationally. The study was conducted using Terra Nova, a widely used standardized assessment tool. These findings are consistent with other assessments, including previous results from the Maryland Model for School Readiness, which measures the impact that our learning programs have on children. Overland Park KinderCare is proud of all of our experienced and dedicated teachers. Our school has several long-term teachers, including an Infant Teacher with a tenure of 28 years, a Toddler Teacher with a tenure of 15 years, and a Discovery Preschool Teacher and Assistant Director who both have ten years of teaching experience at this location! Teachers are trained and educated each year with the latest trends in early childhood education. Teachers are CPR and First Aid certified.
