We bring our indoor classroom outside so that our children can enjoy reading, art, dramatic play and building all while being inspired by nature’s beauty around them and breathing fresh air. Our children enjoy playing in natural environments and natural elements. They do so because of the overwhelming potential of the outdoors. We strive to have children experience nature first hand.
Our enrichment specialists offer an array of opportunities to learn new skills and discover their talent: from animal (yes, real animals) program to music, gardening, art, sports, cooking, photography, wood-shop, wire work, and sewing. We are committed to recognizing children’s inherent potential and set the stage for that potential to flower and bloom.
We believe in creating a rich play environment, where children can manipulate and construct elements such as rocks, sticks, shells, …….

We are a Jewish outdoor preschool that is Reggio inspired. we believe children have tremendous potential, and we try to create an environment where that potential can flourish. We are health conscious, giving children good food and many opportunities to run and play outdoors.

PJECC is such an asset for the Palisades community. It's a nurturing school where the kids and their development comes first. The children get to enjoy the outdoors on a daily basis, the curriculum is flexible and based on the interests of the students and there is always plenty of fun to go around!
Our toddler has been going to PJECC since January and we couldn't be happier with our choice in pre-school. The staff is so genuine and kind hearted. The daily activities ranging from soccer to arts and crafts to animal day are so fun and interactive. Our daughter can't wait to go to school every day and especially fridays when she knows she gets to make the Challah Bread! We have seen her abilities in interacting with other children improve exponentially in the last 6 months, we look forward to seeing her grow through the PJECC system and would recommend it to anyone it truly is a gen of an organization.

I would highly recommend this school to any parent(s). The staff and teachers always have such a warm feeling and welcome you in as one of the family. It's is really like no other school you will find. They have really amazing teachers and strong values. It's like having another family.
It's amazing center with warm, positive, happy and great energy! My son and all our family enjoy it and feel there like at home! Director and all teachers are very friendly, full of love, wisdom and understanding of children's psychology!
