Sunshine Early Childhood Center

Sunshine Early Childhood Daycare is a center that runs 24 hours a day 6 days a week. We have been in operation for the past four years. Sunshine is dedicated to consistently provide high quality child care services which create a warm and welcoming place for children to learn. We at Sunshine help children develop good self image while building good social and emotional skills in a center environment. Sensory motor perceptual and language skills are introduced through materials activities which are both child and teacher directed.

Sunshine Early Childhood Daycares curriculum is created to emphasize the process of a childs personal growth rather than the product. This helps to foster a sense of accomplishment and pride. Based on the theory that children learn through play classroom routines are set up to encourage childrens active involvement meaningful experimentation and reinforcement through repetition. Schedules are designed to have a balance structure of free choice as well as planned activities.

Sunshine Early Childhood Daycare recognizes that children grow in stages and because of that we treat each child as an individual; working from the level that each child has attained and moving forward one step at a time.
