It is the philosophy of United Methodist Christian School that early childhood should be a time of fun warmth security exploring and discovery. Preschool and elementary children are creative and receptive.
Our staff strives to nurture and encourage these qualities in the children who attend. The schools purpose is to provide an atmosphere that encourages spiritual social emotional physical and intellectual growth and development of the child as a whole.
Planned within the framework of philosophy and purpose United Methodist Christian Schools curriculum includes learning about and singing praise to God; sharing and conversation time; stories songs and dramatic finger plays; creative expression through art activities and crafts; games and large muscle activities; food preparation; science and nature activities; field trips throughout the community; an exposure to shapes colors numbers and letters and sounds; and celebration of birthdays and holidays.
