Looking beyond the crayolas and plastic play structures you will find a very unique and wonderful “child centered” environment. A web page cannot communicate the wonder on a childs face as he interacts with live fish in a water table or the sense of accomplishment a child feels when the seed she has planted begins to sprout or even the loving interactions of a teacher helping children deal with conflict in a way that empowers all people involved.
Child development is really “person development” and the journey of self discovery experienced at Barron Park Preschool lasts beyond any time spent here. It is our hope that you will at least get a small taste of the beautiful community that is Barron Park Preschool through this site.

Our goal is to provide for the all around education of the children in our care and to assist parents in their understanding of educational philosophy. The focus of our preschool is not primarily academic in fact our highest priority is to assist the children in our care in meeting the needs of life. We work to enlist the natural desire of children to play and to learn. Our methodology to achieve this is primarily through creative expression (art and music) games and stories.
