Congregation Ner Tamid PreschoolFounded in 1978, the Congregation Ner Tamid Preschool was established to meet the needs of families of all denominations desiring a warm and nurturing Preschool experience for their children.

We are pleased to announce that Congregation Ner Tamids Preschool is one of first programs in the country to achieve the new level of accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Two years ago, NAEYC reinvented their process for accreditation of Preschools nationwide and it raised the standards for accreditation significantly.

For children two years through five years of age, our Preschool program integrates active learning to promote cognitive, social, emotional, physical and creative development.

Our children are also given the opportunity to observe and experience Jewish rituals, joys, celebrations and customs so that they can develop their own identities as Jews. We have Friday Shabbat parties, hands-on activities and projects, family programs and more.

All of our classes are taught by educated teachers who far exceed minimum licensing requirements. Our teachers continue to take classes in child development and are kept up-to-date in current early education trends. We also maintain very low child-to-teacher ratios
