St. Mary School Motto is Where Faith & Knowledge Meet." Parents are the first and foremost educators in the family. St. Marys School was established to assist and support parents in exercising that responsibility and privilege. St. Marys School is here to serve the people of this community. We believe that all students can master basic skills develop critical thinking skills learn problem-solving techniques and choose a lifestyle based on Christian values and democratic principles.

St. Mary School serves numerous towns in Van Buren County including Paw Paw Mattawan Lawton Decatur Lawrence and Gobles. The current enrollment is 107 students in PK-5. 14% of the students are minorities and 2% are Non-Catholic.

St. Mary School believes it is our responsibility to support parents in their role to educate their children and prepare them for the future. Computer education is part of their future and must begin at an early age.

St. Mary School is accredited through Michigan Association of Non-Public Schools (M.A.N.S.). A full report is located in the School office and at the Diocese of Kalamazoo Office of Schools. All teachers and administrators are highly qualified and certfied.
