YMCA Ft. Meigs Enrichment Center

The YMCA/JCC uses the Creative Curriculum for Preschool. The Creative Curriculum includes safe healthy and creative indoor and outdoor environments which foster growth and learning through play and exploration. Physical activity that encourages gross and fine motor development is a part of the program as well as activities which promote:

cognitive development using all five senses
interactions to promote curiosity and confidence
opportunity to develop new skills
social and emotional development for young children to feel successful
development of trusting relationships expression of feelings and encourages self discipline connection and communication with families to support them and encourage family involvement
