Teacher facilitated emergent curriculum honors the interest of the children while expanding their academic and social abilities.

This approach allows each child to add their own personal touch to each classroom.

Happy Day staff develops classroom curriculum that encourages children to take an active role in the learning process.

With approximately twenty-eight different theme boxes, children will encounter enriching daily experiences by participating in songs, books, flannel boards, art projects, large motor, small motor and sensory activities.

Together – teachers, children, families, the church and the community put their hearts into each classroom in order to make it fun and enjoyable – while meeting the needs of every child.

Music, Spanish, and Sign Language are all incorporated into the curriculum.

The importance of taking care of our environment through planting, taking care of animals and following the three R’s (reduce, reuse and recycle) is encouraged in daily curriculum.
