Beth El Center For Early Childhood Education

Preschool in Phoenix, AZ 85021

We are committed to making our Waddler classroom a safe and loving environment for each and every child. Through our guidance, your child will gain trust and security and feel the love emanating from our classroom. We will incorporate age appropriate activities and projects daily that will enhance their learning and development. We will also be introducing the children to the Jewish culture and traditions as well as introductory Hebrew and sign language.

Our goal is to maximize your childs growth and potential, while providing them with unconditional love and support.
In the 2s class we will offer your children quality care that will help develop their bodies and their minds in a safe and healthy place. The children will come out of our room feeling good about themselves, learn social skills, and develop thinking skills. Our goal is to teach them to get along with others and take care of themselves independently.

We promise to be flexible, alert and fair. This will include appropriate lesson planning and attending developmental classes that pertain to children of our age group.

We are looking forward to a year ahead built on friendship, trust, learning, and building the skills necessary for the children to move on to the next class.
Every child has a unique character and evaluation of what is around him/her, based on what he/she perceives. Children learn through play; therefore learning should be enjoyable. The most important goals for young children are the development of a healthy self-concept, a creative imagination, and a social awareness. In order to accomplish these goals, a preschool should be self centered where the teachers are facilitators of learning rather than directors of lessons. Children learn most successfully in an environment where they can look at, touch, poke and squeeze the real world. It is important to provide various age-appropriate materials and activities that the children can choose from.

To help children master these skills, it is necessary to integrate social, emotional, physical, imaginative, and cognitive learning experiences into their everyday routine, while developing their language and social skills.

Our vision is to ensure that Jewish values and traditions are instilled in each child through positive examples and good role models. Each child is treated as an individual who is valued and respected for their uniqueness. Furthermore, their creativity is facilitated by providing opportunities for guidance, materials, and freedom of exploration and discovery.

The children whose parents and teachers work together as a team, is the best combination for success in the development of the child. When it is in a safe and consistent environment, balanced with both love and limits, the child flourishes.
