Preschool in Phoenix, AZ 85033
Cactus Kids Preschool has been serving Phoenix families for 24 years now the second generation of children are attending our school too!
Our goal at Cactus Kids Preschool is to help redefine the expectations of quality childcare in the state of Arizona. When parents leave their children with us, they know they are receiving the attention and nurture they would get from their own family. Our director is active in the local Arizona Child Care Association and First Things First Quality First Program. The director also holds a Masters Degree in Education and continuously participates in training. We accomplish our Goal by our attention to every detail from their safety, health, nutrition, education all tied into a nurturing environment. Our low staff turnover means that children have the same, caring adults in their lives throughout their toddler, preschool and school age (before and After care) years. All of this means their parents can go to work without worrying about their children.
Age groupings are generally based on the childs age in each year. Groupings are flexible and a child may be moved from one group to another to meet special needs. We follow a strict state guided ratio policy. This means how many children of a particular age are allowed per a teacher.
Our staff members are experienced early childhood care providers or educators. All participate in a continuous program of in-service education and studies for professional advancement in order to remain alert to the ever-changing needs of todays families and to the findings of current research.
The center is open to all children, regardless of race, nationality, or creed, who may benefit from our type of program. The child must be one year old and walking and must not be over nine years of age.

The early years of a childs life are very important to his or her future growth and development. This time should be spent in an environment that is secure and stimulating, caring and fun. The environment is where a child feels safe enough to try new things and to explore the world and his or her relationship.
