It is our philosophy to prepare motivational and culturally appropriate activities dispersed throughout a comforting social environment while refraining from obtrusive infringement on their learning. It is not what a teacher gives to the student, but rather what is spontaneously carried out by the child. Likewise, a child’s education is not gained by solely listning to lessons, but by experience of their enviroment. We believe that the foundation of learning in young children is their action and involvement in play. Play provides opportunities for the exploration, experimentation and manipulatin necessary for constructing knowledge. Our program provides for interaction between children, adults, and materials. We recognize the need for children to make choices from a variety of enriching, interesting materials and experiences.
