Lil World Daycare Preschool

Owner Leslie Melvin decided to open the Lil World Daycare Preschool in 2005. After noticing the incompatible hours other local daycares were offering his coworker parents, he knew that this was the right move to make.

After finding out he had cancer in 2001, Leslie started researching how to open a full-fledged daycare at home. At the time, he really wanted to do something different than what he was doing for a living, and wanted to help out parents that worked just as hard as he did at the same time.

As Leslie slowly started to feel better, his own children helped him reach these goals. Today, Leslie and his family all work at the Lil World Daycare Preschool, and have two new adopted additions to their own family as well.

Together, our daycare strives to get our children prepared for school, and all of our different classrooms are currently excelling. So, with our 24/7 service and healthy meals to feed your child, youll know theyll be in great hands whenever you allow us to take care of them for you.
