Longview Community Childcare Center

The mission of the Longview Child Care Center is to provide staff that have:
A commitment and sensitivity to children.
The knowledge, skills, and dispositions to serve as effective staff in the field of early childhood education.
A commitment to a continuous process of educating themselves and sharing the love of learning with children
A broad foundation of knowledge in discipline.
Our program is committed to encouraging children from various backgrounds to
be respectful, responsible, caring, and honest individuals with the intention of
providing staff to meet the needs of our children across the community and
neighboring communities. Our mission is aligned with the overall goal that staff
will devote their efforts to improving the lives of children in the broadest sense,
realizing that childrens mental and physical growth does not occur independent
of the cultures, families, political and economic conditions within which they
exist. Our staff believes that enhancing the lives of children within this context
will ultimately nurture competent citizens for our community and society.
