Cherished Children is a new preschool and childcare built on the premis that every child deserves to be cherished.

Every Child Deserves to be Cherished to cherish is to hold dear to feel or shown affection for; to keep to nurture and to cultivate with care and affection.

A flowering plant requires the centralization of a complex process that is influenced by a multitude of environmental and physical factors to produce both flowers and fruit. Comparable to the flowering plant when children are “cherished” “cultivated” “held dear” “shown affection” “nurtured” and provided the proper foundation that stimulates physical emotional social and academic growth children too develop into productive contributing members of society. Cherished Children provides diverse experiences that empower encourage and aid children in reaching their highest potential.

We Understand We recognize the necessity of work and the stress and demands placed on parents with children in the care of others. We strive to make it easier on parents by giving them the knowledge that their children are in the care of qualified and loving people and by providing a flexible schedule to accommodate your needs.

We are licensed by the state of Pennsylvania and our staff is CPR and First Aid certified. All teachers and care providers are required to complete and pass a rigorous background screening and FBI fingerprinting process additionally our teachers and care providers are compelled to complete early childhood education training.

We Offer professionally designed thematic curriculum; complete with lesson plans assessments progress reports portfolios and newsletters for parents to use as a guide of their child’s progress. Children learn through hands-on play and structured activities in our well organized Learning Environments. Learning Environments are the places within our classroom where children can find the toys and matierals related by theme interest and skills. These activities and toys can be used independently by the children or with teacher direction to reinforce and enrich skills and concepts they need. Learning environments are an excellent way to individualize the curriculum to meet the varying needs of young children.
