Wee Care Learning Center

The mission of Wee Care Learning Center is to provide a child care facility designed to serve the families and children of our community.

Our purpose is to provide a secure and loving setting in which your child can develop learning skills and enjoy socializing experiences with other children in a learning environment.

Our daily programs include a variety of activities such as art, music, stories, creative drama, cooking, science experiences, and field trips, as well as ample time for large motor activities. All activities are supervised and planned by a staff of loving teachers who strive to help each child have fun and develop a positive self-image.

Wee Care Learning Center is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Children in child care may be here at any time during these hours. We normally will be open during snowy weather, though our daily routines may be altered.

The program at Wee Care Learning Center is planned to develop a well-rounded person. We seek to develop the child in the following areas:

• Spiritually: As a part of our curriculum, we want to convey to the children a knowledge of their Creator and loving Heavenly Father. A proper concept of God is so vital in the development of a whole being. We want to establish a sense of purpose in life even at early ages.

• Mentally: Children of all ages can benefit from an academic program. Each child is a born scientist and almost every moment offers a new learning experience. By talking to the children, reading to them, engaging them in a variety of activities, taking trips with them, and inviting in guests involved in our community, we will provide a constant learning situation.

• Emotionally & Socially: There is no greater teacher than a group of children of the same age spending time together under supervision to bring about emotional and social development. It is our aim to supply many situations where sharing and consideration of others may be expressed. Adjustments can be a pleasant experience in a warm Christian atmosphere.

• Physically: We are interest in the health and well-being of the child and will provide an active play time along with other programs that will encourage proper muscular development. Bathroom procedures and thorough hand washing, along with the establishment of health rules will be emphasized.

Though we are sponsored by Christian Life Center, we do not promote or teach any churchs doctrine, however we do teach basic Christian principles. Members of all faiths and creeds are welcome to enroll, as well as members of any ethnic group.

Staffing

Training and experience qualify our teachers and supervisors. We are here to educate and care for your child in the best possible environment, and we all work to make our Center a happy and exciting one. Our aides are chosen by their love for and compatibility with children. We have ongoing training both within the center and at seminars, etc., available to all personnel.
