Broad Street Christian Academy

Broad Street Christian Academy is located in Broad Street United Methodist Church at 300 Broad Street, Portsmouth, Virginia in the historical Port Norfolk area. We are about half a mile from the Portsmouth entrance to the Mid-Town Tunnel. Our learning center is placed in the first floor of the educational building. Our bright and cheerful classrooms offer over one hundred square feet of space per child and are fully equipped with learning centers and discovery areas.

It is our purpose to provide a Christian environment that is nurturing, clean and safe in which the children can play, learn, develop and grow physically, spiritually and socially. Our focus is the development of the whole child with planned and developmentally appropriate educational programs and activities. Our staff, with planned programs and activities will help promote children physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. Through learning centers, discovery areas, curriculum, planning and care; we provide a comfortable learning environment that allows children and their families to feel welcome, safe, loved and special while they grow, learn and have fun.
