Calvert Memorial Hospital - Child Development Center

The Calvert Memorial Hospital Child Development Center currently has openings for children six weeks through pre-school. The state-accredited center is located on the Prince Frederick campus and is operated by Bright Horizons Family Solutions, which manages more than 600 childcare centers for leading corporations, hospitals, universities and government agencies.

The center, in operation for 15 years, provides a structured curriculum for each age group that includes language, math and science. Hours are Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. for full-time and occasional care. You do not have to work at the hospital to apply. The center also accepts children from the community.

The playground was recently updated and includes a separate fenced area for infants. The center also provides before and after school care and coverage when schools are closed on a space-available basis. Meals include a morning snack, lunch, an afternoon snack and dinner if a child is there after 5 p.m.
