The Cascade Christian School District established this Center as a service to families and children of
the community. This service has grown out of a sincere love for children and a desire to help them
develop and adjust to our modern world. The early learning center complements the values generally
taught in good homes.
The mission of our Center is to provide a high quality, spiritually based educational program for
young children. We provide care that parents can trust, through a developmentally appropriate and
supportive environment that encourages individuality and self-confidence within the child.
Our Center offers a curriculum where children are invited to grow, learn, and socialize. This will
encourage individuality that enhances a good self-concept. We provide stimulation through
developmentally appropriate curriculum. We feel child care should be based on constructive learning
experiences designed to strengthen individual and group needs in the classroom.
The children are surrounded by a warm, friendly atmosphere of respect and loving appreciation for
each person and for the wonders of Gods world. Each child is encouraged to progress at his/her own
pace toward enriched experiences, self-discipline and the ability to make good choices.
Our aim is to develop the whole child by providing an educational experience of lasting value:
Intellectually: by encouraging an enthusiasm for learning through exploring and hands-on
experiences.
Physically: by encouraging experiences that will develop large and small muscle coordination
and motor skills.
Socially/Emotionally: by encouraging participation in group activities, getting along with
others, developing a feeling of security and belonging.
Spiritually: by providing a Bible time, and by integrating a biblical worldview throughout the
curriculum and learning environment. Christ-centered character qualities are modeled through
the lives of our staff and the responses given to the children. Bible stories and songs give each
child an awareness of Gods love for him.
