RCK services families with our outstanding professional staff and visiting specialists. Each class is led by a team of two teachers (with the exception of our Kindergarten Enrichment offering) who regularly interact with the children so they can better understand and nurture the personal development of each student.
All staff members attend continuing education workshops each year and have membership in the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The school is licensed by the State of Connecticut.
RCK Pre-School is administered by a Board of Directors consisting of a chairperson, vice chairperson, secretary, treasurer and committee chairs elected for two-year terms.

Our philosophy is to help children develop skills to the best of their abilities so they can take pride in what they know and what they can do. We are dedicated to assisting each child in finding a comfortable and contributing place in his or her own group.
Our goal is to enrich the whole child – physically, emotionally and intellectually. We foster independence, social development – sharing, self-mastery, conflict resolution – and early literacy and mathematical skills. We place special emphasis on developing respect for others.
