It is The New Life Preschool and Learning Center’s key principle is based on the premise that children learn best through active, hands-on exploration. With caring, well-trained, and experienced teachers as guides, our curriculum encourages discovery within a stimulating environment that can nurture each child’s curiosity, potential, and growth.
At NewLife, we believe “How is this child smart?” is more important than “How smart is this child?” Our teachers set up learning experiences for children for each group of students, while understanding individual child’s development needs.
Our early education curriculum was created to foster individual development at every age and stage. The objectives are based on attaining developmental achievements in all areas: social-emotional, physical, language, and cognitive/intellectual. We recognize that no two children develop at the same pace. The curriculum provides a framework for highly individualized and flexible learning experiences. The curriculum-based activities, projects, and learning centers keep children engaged while they build important skills to grow.
We believe in the model method for educating your child. This means that the teachers involve themselves in ever aspect of the classroom. Sitting and eating at the table, playing with the play dough, participating in outside play – like involving themselves in duck, duck, goose or Simon says with a child being the leader and having the teacher follow the rules set by the student. What they see is what they will do. They see the teacher being patience and waiting for her turn to play with the toy, using her manners at the table while eating lunch or having snack, using her quiet voice in the classroom during quiet time.
