Elizabeth Ann Seton Montessori School

Elizabeth Ann Seton Montessori School is an authentic, Montessori school that is based on the philosophy and teaching method of Dr. Maria Montessori along with the catechetical
approach to the religious formation of the child developed by Sofia Cavalleti and Gianna Gobbi. Seton Montessori school is a non-profit preschool that seeks to nurture the child’s desire to learn and grow through providing a Catholic environment for the moral, physical, emotional, social, and mental development of the child.

Seton Montessori School shares Dr. Maria Montessori’s view of education as an aide to life. The child is not only developing their potential as a member of society, but also developing as a living member of the Catholic Church; the body of Christ. Seton Montessori school seeks to protect the child in their religious formation and the unique relationship between the child and God.

Incorporating both the Montessori method and the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Seton Montessori School strives to educate the whole child: physical, emotional, and spiritual.
