White Bear Lake Area Learning Center

The White Bear Lake Area Learning Center is a non-traditional, standards based school. The learning opportunities are individualized and student centered. In addition to scheduled class periods, learning occurs in small groups, computer labs, community based experiences and leadership training. After regular day hours, students from area high schools can earn make-up credit toward graduation through after school classes and an independent study program.
The ALC is also home to the Insight Recovery Program, the White Bear Online Program and Parenting program with in-house daycare.

The White Bear Lake ALC is committed to engage students in life-long learning activities that will meet their academic, emotional, physical, and school-to-career transitional needs with in a community that values the diversity, dignity, and respect of each learner.
