Bracken United Methodist Preschool

Bracken United Methodist Preschool (BUMP) is a licensed preschool
that operates Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Our preschool accepts children from 18 months through age 5 or
entering Kindergarten.
Our preschool is open for 9 months of the year from September through the end of May. For
holidays we follow the Schertz Cibolo and Universal Independent City School District (SCUCISD)
schedule. In June we offer our Joy Camp ministry which begins in mid June and ends in mid
August. Joy Camp is a 4 day a week ministry Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Joy Camp serves children from age 2 through age 12.

At Bracken United Methodist Preschool (BUMP) we believe children learn best by doing. Our age
appropriate curriculum is geared toward concrete hands-on learning. We offer a variety of activities
to stimulate interest through the use of developmentally appropriate materials as well as taking
into consideration the individual needs of each child. We encourage creative expression and
independence and believe a childs early expression provides the foundation for a lifetime.

We have Chapel on Wednesday and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:15. If your child is 3 years of age or
older he/she can participate with the Tiny Tots Choir on Wednesday at 9:30.

We currently have space available for our Wednesday / Friday class for all ages. In addition we
have for a few 4 day a week spaces available. If you are interested please drop by for a tour. Our
tours are Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 through 1:30.
