Northwood Presbyterian Day School is committed to providing a positive engaging stimulating learning environment for every child. Because children learn by doing classrooms are designed with learning centers and children are provided time to explore and experience at their own rates based on their interests and abilities. In addition children participate in teacher-led activities including story and vocabulary time games and group discussion.
Classroom curriculums reflect a well-rounded balance of cognitive social emotional physical and spiritual development. In order to enrich the learning experience group and individual activities are conducted both indoors and outdoors. Field trips and special events are incorporated into many of the classes. Our enrichment programs include but are not limited to music gross motor/p.e. and Spanish.
