SFSU - Omi Head Start

The SFSU Head Start/Early Head Start’s key management staff and the University work in partnership with the Head Start/Early Head Start Policy Council to develop, review, and approve or disapprove program policies and procedures that cover areas such as funding applications; procedures for program planning; personnel policies and procedures as well as personnel actions; recruitment, selection, and enrollment priorities; and other key areas of program design and management. Eighty percent (80%) of the members of the Policy Council are parents of currently enrolled children; and 20% are community representatives.
