Empire Montessori Preschool is an Infant through 1st Grade program serving children in your neighborhood. We are located at 499 North 11th Street on the corner of North 11th Street and East Empire across the street from the Joyce Ellington Library. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm. Included in the tuition is two nutritious snacks and a hot lunch. We offer full and part time schedules. We have a beautiful outside area that allows the children to ride bikes climb on structures and run and play on the grass area. We have Montessori Certified and Fully Qualified Teachers on Staff and we follow the Montessori Philosophy.

Our approach is designed to help children with their task of inner development as they grow from childhood to maturity. Our philosophy is established upon the idea that children naturally develop and think differently from adults. Every child has a different personality and varying intellectual needs and we pride ourselves on meeting each student’s needs. Our classrooms provide a quality environment where children are free to respond to their natural tendency to work. The children’s innate passion for learning is encouraged by giving them opportunities to engage in spontaneous purposeful activities under the guidance of a trained adult. Through their work the children develop concentration and joyful self-discipline.
