CFCS - Hillside Head Start

Child Family and Community Services (CFCS) is a non-profit organization providing education child on swingand family support services to low-income families living in southern Alameda County. The agency was established in 1965 as part of the Office of Economic Opportunity and was incorporated in 1974 to become the provider for the Head Start Program of Southern Alameda County. Our programs currently serve more than 3000 families each year throughout the south county area. The CFCS Board of Directors has maintained the original agency mission while continuing to add funding and programs to expand services for children families and communities. We believe that the families we serve need not only the programs that we offer but the support to develop the tools to become self-sufficient when they are no longer enrolled in our programs. We are dedicated to eNHAncing families self-sufficiency and providing children with a foundation to be successful.
