The United Church Daycare and Preschool is a DCFS licensed Daycare and Preschool program that offers quality care and learning opportunities to children ages 6 weeks to 9 years or entrance into 4th grade. The center was established in 1996 with the mission of providing quality daycare for infants of teen parents that wish to continue their high school education. In 1998, United Church Preschool was added to our center. In the year 2001, the daycare opened to the public and in 2009 we began the school age program. We continue to reserve a number of spaces for the children of high school students.

Our objective is to provide quality care and education for children, ages 6 weeks to 9 years, in a play based, Christian setting, that will stimulate the childs development in all areas. We provide a Christian environment in which the children are encouraged to explore and learn.
Our program recognizes that each child is an individual and respects each childs individuality. Our program differentiates instruction to meet each childs individual needs and interests. Activities are designed to promote success. Our environment focuses on the whole child. Activities provided focus on all areas of development including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical.
