Rosita Elementary School strives to develop students who are life-long learners and responsible citizens. The Rosita staff is committed to providing students with an instructional program based on the state standards. Our teachers implement research-based instructional strategies in their lesson delivery and continuously refine their practices through ongoing professional development. Our goal is to increase students academic achievement in all curricular areas and provide a safe and encouraging learning environment.

day. Reading to your child, or listening to him or her read, is one of the most beneficial activities you can do to help your child be succesSFul in school. We appreciate your continual support in this endeavor.

Our school is a diverse community of learners. Located in Santa Ana, California, Rosita has approximately 690 students in grades kindergarten through sixth. We are also home to a state Preschool program which accommodates about 150 young children. This program focuses on early literacy skills and prepares them for the rigor of kindergarten.

The Boys and Girls Club of Garden Grove is also a part of the Rosita campus. They offer a daily after school program for selected students in grades 3-6. The Boys and Girls Club also implements a Family Literacy program on Tuesdays and Thursdays that is focused on English language development for adults and skills for working with your child at home.
